- A fund (noun) is an amount of money that is saved or invested for a special purpose.
A mutual fund is an investment in which money from a group of shareholders is used to buy a collection of stocks, bonds, etc.
Funds (plural noun) are available money.
To fund (verb) an organization, a project, etc., is to provide money for it. - fund (名詞)は、特別な目的のために蓄えたり運用したりするお金、つまり、基金や資金のことです。
mutual fund は、出資者たちから集めたお金を使って色々な株式や債券などを購入する投資、つまり、投資信託のことです。
複数形の funds は、使うことができるお金、つまり、所持金、手持ちの資金のことです。
動詞の fund は、組織やプロジェクトなどのために資金を提供する、という意味です。
