Greetings! It's good to be here with you again!

Many factors determine whether you'll be happy in a job or career: salary, aptitude, relationships with co-workers, commuting time - the list goes on and on. One especially important factor is whether or not you're able to move through the ranks. Without increasing responsibility and pay, it can be hard to maintain enthusiasm for any job.

Explanation

  • To advance (verb) in an organization, in a field, etc., is to move into a higher or better position.

    The noun form is also advance.
  • advance (動詞)とは、組織の中や何かの分野において、今までより高い地位やよい地位に進む、つまり、昇進する、という意味です。

    名詞形も advance で、昇進、という意味です。
