There's a lot that's unpredictable about pets and babies, but there is one thing you can count on: they're going to get dirty once in a while ... unless, of course, you've got one of those robotic dogs!

GIVE (a dog) A BATH
- To give a pet or a person (usually a baby, child, or sick or elderly person) a bath is to wash their body in a tub of hot water.
- (mother to son)
When are you going to give that dog a bath? He's filthy (= very dirty). - (customer buying a kitten, to pet store clerk)
How often should I give it a bath? - (after answering the phone)
Can I call you back? I was just giving the baby a bath.
Stay clean!
