I'M MARRIED AND HAVE TWO CHILDREN.
- When meeting someone in their twenties or older, a natural way to ask about their own family is to start by asking, “Are you married?”
If they are, then you can ask, “Do you have any children?”
A natural way to tell someone about your own family is to say, for example, “I'm married and have two children.” or “I have a wife/husband and two children.”
Be Careful! Remember to say “I have A wife/husband.,” NOT “I have ONE wife/husband.”
Do you have any children?
I'm married and have two children. または、 I have a wife/husband and two children.
I have ONE wife/husband. I have A wife/husband.
- a: Are you married?
b: Yes, I am.
a: Do you have any children?

b: Yes, I got married two years ago.
a: Do you have any children yet?
b: Not yet. - (introducing herself at her first day of work)
My name is Theresa Simpson. I'm married and have one daughter. She's three years old. - (female school office employees)
a: Who's that beautiful man over there?
b: That's the new vice principal.
a: (excited) I'm going to introduce myself!
b: Wait. You should also know that he has a wife and three children.
Have a terrific day!
