COMMUNICATE 連絡する、通信する
- To communicate with someone is to share information with them by talking, writing, etc.
The noun form is communication. - communicate とは、話したり、書いたりすることによって、人と情報を共有する、つまり、連絡する、通信する、という意味です。
名詞形は communication で、連絡、通信、という意味です。

- We've been communicating by e-mail for years, but we've never met face-to-face.
- We were in such a remote part of the country that there was no way for us to communicate with the home office.
