APOLOGY   謝罪

Explanation

To apologize is to say that you are sorry for something you, or someone connected to you, did wrong.

The noun form is apology.
apologize は、自分や自分と関係のある人がした間違った行為に対して、申し訳ないという気持ちを述べる、つまり、謝罪する、という意味です。

名詞形は apology で、謝罪、という意味です。
