VISIONの意味、先見の明、見通し

Without a clear idea of where you're going, it becomes a case of the blind leading the blind, which is why every competent leader needs to have a goal in mind - or in sight!

VISION   先見の明、見通し A person with vision is able to imagine, and plan for, the future with intelligence and creativity. A vision is an idea or picture in your mind; for example, of something that might be possible in the future. 数えられない名詞の vision は、知性と創造力によって、将来を想像し、将来の計画を立てる能力、つまり、先見の明のことです。 数えられる名詞の vision は、将来起こり得ることなどについて、思い描く考えやイメージ、つまり、見通しのことです。

	Our company has the potential for immense growth. The new director must be someone with the vision to make that happen. (talking about a senior manager) Of course I respect her dedication to the agency, but she lacks vision. (presenting the Manager of the Year Award) He is a man of extraordinary vision, with the ability to share that vision with all who work under him. A well-written mission statement should express a common vision for the future.
