- To supervise is to watch and direct an employee or task to make sure that things are done the way they're supposed to be.
A supervisor is someone who has such a job. - supervise とは、物事が適切に行われるように、従業員や業務を監視する、指導する、という意味です。
supervisor とは、従業員や業務を監視、指導する仕事を受け持つ人、つまり、監督者、上司のことです。
- I've asked Hank to supervise the move to our new offices. With him in charge, I feel confident that things will run smoothly.
- As foreman, you'll be responsible for supervising 14 assembly line workers and ensuring that work is conducted safely and efficiently.
