We're out taking the air once again, and this time we've brought along a word that should serve us well when asking or giving directions!

INTERSECTION 交差点
- An intersection is a place where two or more streets cross one another.
A three-way intersection is a place along a road where another road begins - forming the shape of a “T” - or where the road splits in two - forming the shape of a “Y”.
We also talk about a four-way intersection (= an “ordinary” intersection), a five-way intersection, etc. - intersection
- Shibuya Crossing is one of the busiest intersections in Tokyo.
- Take a left at the third intersection.
- It's the big brick office building at the intersection of Lombard and Greenwich Avenue.
- Be careful when you cross this intersection. There have been a lot of accidents here lately.
- Keep going straight until you see a three-way intersection.
- At the second four-way intersection, look for a blue and white house on the corner.
Have a great day!
