Today's Lesson
(TAKE A) TOUR   周遊(する)

Explanation

  • To tour (verb) a city, country, or other area is to visit a number of places there, especially for pleasure. To tour a museum, cathedral, etc., is to look around, especially in order to learn about the place.

The noun form is also tour.

A tourist is someone who travels for pleasure.
  • 都市や国などの地域について tour (動詞)と言うと、特に楽しむために、その地域の多くの場所を訪れる、つまり、周遊する、という意味です。美術館、大聖堂などについて tour と言うと、特にその場所について知るために見て回る、つまり、見学する、という意味になります。

    名詞形も tour で、周遊、見学、という意味です。
