(TAKE A) SHOWER / TAKE A BATH

Explanation

  • To take a shower or to shower is to wash your body in the shower.

To take a bath is to wash your body in the bathtub.

Be Careful! Shower can be used both as a noun and a verb, but “bath” is only used as a noun (in the United States). The verb form is “bathe,” with an “e” at the end.
