Explanation

  • When an airplane returns to the ground, we say the pilot lands the airplane or the airplane and passengers land.

    To land is also to arrive somewhere by ship or boat.

    The noun form is landing.
  • land とは、飛行機を着陸させる、または、飛行機や乗客が着陸する、という意味です。

    また、land には船やボートでどこかに到着する、という意味もあります。

    名詞形は landing で、着陸、上陸、という意味です。
