- Someone is direct if they say what they mean in a clear and honest way.
A statement, question, answer, etc. is direct if it is said in a clear and honest way. - 人について direct と言うと、思ったことをはっきりと誠実に言う、つまり、率直な、という意味になります。
direct には、発言、質問、回答などが、はっきりと誠実な言い方でなされる、つまり、直接的な、という意味もあります。
