Let's take care of a couple more basics first, shall we?
SEND / RECEIVE (e-mail)   (e
- To send e-mail is to cause it to go from your computer to another computer.
To receive e-mail is to get it (in your in-box).

- Send me an e-mail so I can add you to the mailing list.
 - I don't think he checks his e-mail very often. I sent him a message over a week ago, but I still haven't gotten a reply.
 - If you would like to receive an e-mail notifying you when registration for this event begins, send an e-mail to the following address ...
 - Our office receives hundreds of e-mails every day. It's impossible to reply to all of them.

It's been a pleasure!
