VEHICLE vs. VESSEL 車両 vs. 船舶
- A vehicle is a machine (usually with wheels), such as a car or truck, for carrying people or things ON LAND.
A vessel is a ship or large boat. - vehicle は、自動車やトラックなど、陸上で人やものを運ぶための(通常、車輪のついた)機械、つまり、車両のことです。
vessel は、船や大型のボートのことです。
- There aren't many parking lots or garages in that part of town, so most vehicles are parked in the street.
- Trucks are more difficult to drive than passenger vehicles.
- It's against the law to operate a motor vehicle while intoxicated.
- The marina can accommodate vessels up to 60 meters.
- It's one of the largest cargo vessels on the Great Lakes.
