  • A polite way to offer to do something or to agree to a request is to say, “I'd be happy to do it.”
  • 何かすることを申し出るときや、要求に応えるときの丁寧な言い回しは I'd be happy to do it. で、「喜んで~します。」という意味になります。



  1. a: Would you mind writing something for the newsletter about the opening of the new Houston office?
    b: Not at all. I'd be happy to.
  2. I'd be happy to help. Just tell me what you'd like me to do.
  3. We'd be happy to meet with you to discuss the details.
  4. Their sales rep said that she'd be happy to e-mail us their spring catalog.
