MINIMUM WAGE 最低賃金
- The minimum wage is the smallest amount of money that an employer can legally pay a worker for an hour of work.
Be Careful! The expression minimum wage is often used without an article (= a word like “a” or “the”), as in “He makes minimum wage.” - minimum wage とは、1時間の労働に対して、雇用主が労働者に法的に支払うことができる最低の金額、つまり、最低賃金のことです。
注意: minimum wage は、He makes minimum wage. のように、冠詞( a や the のような語)を付けずに使われることがよくあります。
