(PHYSICAL) FITNESS 健康
- Someone is fit if they are healthy and strong (= in
shape), especially because they exercise regularly.
The noun form is fitness, also called physical fitness. - 人について fit と言うと、特に定期的に運動しているため、健康で丈夫である(体調が良い)、という意味になります。
名詞形は fitness で、健康、という意味です。また、physical fitness と言うこともあります。
- We hadn't seen each other in over ten years, but he looks as fit as he did in college.
- I try to keep fit and healthy by going to the gym 3 to 4 times a week.
