- To hang out (informal) somewhere or with someone is to spend time somewhere or with someone, especially regularly or for pleasure.
A hangout is a place where you often spend time. - hang out は、特に習慣的に、あるいは、遊びで、どこかで誰かと時間を過ごす、という意味です。おもに親しい間柄で使われます。
hangout は名詞で、いつも時間を過ごす場所、という意味です。
