Hello again!
Well, most of us have eaten our fill - the wiser among us having eaten somewhat less - and now it's time to give the restaurant its due. Cash or charge?
CASHIER レジ係
- A cashier is a person responsible for receiving money from, and making change for, customers at a restaurant, supermarket, shop, etc.
- cashier とは、レストランやスーパーマーケット、小売店などでお客さんからお金を預ったり、つり銭を出したりする役割を持つ人です。
- (a man to his wife as they leave a restaurant)
Wait! I think the cashier gave me the wrong change. I'll be right back. - The cashier wouldn't accept my credit card, so I had to pay cash.
- (a waitress to a customer)
Please take your bill to the cashier.
Help yourself to a mint before you go!
