Explanation

  • To fall behind or get behind (in work, on payments, on appointments, etc.) is to BECOME late (= behind schedule) because you're doing less than expected.

    To be behind or run behind is to already BE late.
  • fall behind または get behind は、思ったほど物事が進まないために、(仕事、支払い、約束などにおいて)遅くなる、という意味です。

    be behind または run behind は、すでに遅れている、という意味です。
