STORAGE 保管
- To store something that won't be used for a while (especially a large amount of something) is to put it away until it is needed.
The noun form is storage.
If something is in storage, it's being kept in a special room or building until it is needed. - store とは、しばらく使われない大量の物を、必要になるまでしまっておく、つまり、保管する、という意味です。
storage は、store の名詞形で、保管、という意味です。
in storage とは、何かを、必要になるまで特別な部屋や建物に保管している、という意味です。
