Explanation

  • Murphy's Law is a rule of nature (often not seriously believed) that says that if anything can go wrong, it will.
  • Murphy's Law とは、悪い方向に進む可能性のあることは、全てうまくいかない、という自然界の法則のことですが、多くの人は、あまり真剣に信じていません。

  1. a: For years I've backed up my computer once a week every week, and nothing has ever happened. Then, the one time I forget to do it, my computer crashes!
    b: Well, that's Murphy's Law for you.

    b: Perfect! I guess Murphy's Law took a holiday for a few days.
