THANK (v.) 感謝する
- To thank someone is to say “thank you”, either in words or by giving them a gift, doing them a favor, etc.
- thank とは、言葉にしたり、贈り物をしたり、または、相手の頼みを聞いてあげたりすることで、誰かに「ありがとう」と言う、つまり、感謝する、という意味です。
- I want to thank you for helping me the other day.
- This has been the best day of my life! How can I ever thank you?
- (to a real estate agent)
The house you found for us is perfect! We can't thank you enough. - (the host of a party, talking about a guest)
She left without even thanking me. - There's no need to thank me. It was my pleasure.
- Don't thank me - thank Christine. She did most of the work.
And we'd like to thank YOU for sharing today's feast with us!
