- To hear from someone is to receive a phone call, letter, email, etc. from them.
- hear from とは、誰かから電話や手紙、eメールなどで連絡をもらう、という意味です。
- a: Do you ever hear from Kaya?
b: No. We lost touch with each other after graduation. - How's Meg doing? I haven't heard from her since the wedding.
- a: It's been a long time since we got a letter from Tess.
