Explanation

  • To be excited is to feel very happy and enthusiastic.

    Something is exciting if it makes you feel very happy and enthusiastic.

    Be Careful! These two words are very often confused. Just remember that only a person can be excited, because excited describes a feeling. The person, thing, or situation that makes you feel that way is exciting.
  • excited は、とてもうれしかったり、夢中になっている状態のことをいいます。

    exciting は、何かが人をうれしくさせたり、夢中にさせたりする、という意味です。

    注意:この2語は混同されることが多くあります。excited は、感情を表す単語なので、人についてしか使えないことを覚えておいてください。わくわくした気分にさせる人やもの、状況については exciting を使います。
