Explanation

  • To be bored is to feel unhappy or tired because what you're doing is not interesting or because you have nothing interesting to do.

    If something or someone is boring, they make you feel unhappy or tired because they're not interesting.

    Be Careful! These two words are very often confused. Just remember that only a person can be bored, because bored describes a feeling. The person, thing, or situation that makes you feel that way is boring.
  • bored は、今していることがおもしろくなかったり、何もおもしろいことがないために不満を感じたり、うんざりしたりする、という意味です。

    boring と言うと、おもしろくないために、人に不満を感じさせたり、うんざりさせたりする、という意味です。

    注意:この2語は混同されることが多くあります。bored は、感情を表す単語なので、人についてしか使えないことを覚えておいてください。退屈な気分にさせる人やもの、状況については boring を使います。
