Explanation

  • To memorize something is to learn it so well that you can remember every word, every number, etc. of it.
  • memorize とは、何かを記憶して、その一語一句、数字のひとつひとつまで思い出せるようにする、つまり暗記するという意味です。

    For next time, I want you to memorize the poem on page 143.
  2. My son memorized the names of all the United States presidents since George Washington when he was just five years old.
