For Life
2005.08.01(Review of 2001.04.25 edition)

Hello and welcome to August! We LOVE this month: hot weather, the constant chorus of cicadas, and the free time to be out there among nature at its most voluptuous! Don't miss the fun!

And speaking of fun, let's get started! This week's theme is: The Written Word!

Today's LessonCATEGORY:

Explanation

  • To write is to make WORDS, sentences, stories, etc. using a pen, pencil, word processor, or similar tool.

To draw is to make a PICTURE using a pencil, pen, magic marker, crayon, or similar tool.

To paint is also to make a PICTURE, but using paint.

Be Careful! We do NOT use the word “draw” to talk about making a picture using paint.
