Hi, and welcome back! Last week we hinted at this week's theme, and now those sleepless nights you've spent wondering what on earth the theme could be are over. This week we'll be talking about a very old game played throughout the world - cards!

Now remember, no cheating!

Explanation

  • To name a card in a standard set of playing cards, just say the rank (value), then "of" and the suit.

  • トランプの札の名前は、rank + of + suit　の順番で言います。
    rank　は、キング、クイーン、ジャック、10、9、… 3、2、エースの13種類の強さを表します。
    suit　は、札についた4種類のマーク （ハート、ダイヤ、クラブ、スペード） をさします。

    In this game, the ace of spades is the strongest card.
  2. (about to pick up a new card during a game)
    If I get a seven of diamonds, I win.
