While and during are both used to say that one action occurs at the same time as another.
While is followed by a noun and a verb phrase (independent clause). During is followed by a noun phrase only.
while と during は、両方とも何かが起こっている間に、同時に起こることについて言うときに使う言葉です。
whileは、後ろに節がきます。 duringは、後ろに名詞句がきます。
