To say that something will happen in five minutes, in seven days, in thirty years, or some other period of time means that something will happen before or at the end of that period of time.

(Be careful: We usually do NOT say that something will happen AFTER five minutes.)

inは、～後／以内にという意味で、in five minutes, in seven days, in thirty yearsは、５分後／以内に、７日後／以内に、３０年後／以内に、という意味になります。

注意：　５分後にという意味で、普通AFTER five minutesとは言いません。

2. We guarantee we'll deliver your pizza in 30 minutes or the pizza is free.

3. My daughter is getting married in a month, so we're very busy getting things ready.
