何かがもうない状態をout of somethingと言います。


1. We're out of coffee. Can you make some more?

2. (ordering at a restaurant)
   a: I'll have a turkey sandwich, please.
   b: I'm sorry, we're out of turkey. How about tuna?

3. a: I think the copy machine is broken.
   b: No, it's just out of paper.
