To "have breakfast" means to eat breakfast. You can also have lunch, dinner, a snack, or a meal.

have breakfastは、朝食をとるという意味です。 lunch(昼食)やdinner(夕食)、a snack(スナック)、 a meal(食事)にも haveが使えます。
