To "have breakfast" means to eat breakfast. You can also have lunch, dinner, a snack, or a meal.

have breakfastは、朝食をとるという意味です。 lunch（昼食）やdinner（夕食）、a snack（スナック）、 a meal（食事）にも haveが使えます。


1. I woke up late this morning, so there wasn't time to have breakfast.
